Educational Furniture was founded in 2002 to meet the furniture and loose equipment needs of K-12 schools in Indiana and Ohio. We sell classroom furniture, office furniture, playground equipment, cafeteria tables and many other types of furniture to meet the needs of schools.

The company recently expanded to provide fixed furnishing to schools. Additional products include: indoor bleachers, outdoor bleachers, lockers, library furniture and theater seating.

History
Educational Furniture was founded in October, 2002, by Matt and Mark Simmons. In August 2003, we acquired warehouse and office space in Muncie, Indiana, and moved all corporate operations to that location.

We have been very successful during our first year of business. More than 110 schools in 58 school districts throughout Indiana and Ohio have purchased furniture and loose equipment items from Educational Furniture. Approximately 120 manufacturers have agreed to allow Educational Furniture to sell their products in this two-state region.

The company has grown from one full time employee to 12 employees in the first 18 months of business. We look forward to continued rapid growth by using people and technology to service and exceed the expectations of our customers.
